ETFE (ethylene tetrafluoroethylene) which is commonly referred as Tefzel® is a modified copolymer of ethylene and tetrafluoroethylene. It has medium stiffness. ETFE is often used in applications that demand mechanical toughness, moderate stiffness, and outstanding chemical resistance.
Distinguishing Feature
ETFE is stiffer and has better creep resistance than many softer fluoropolymers such as PTFE or FEP.
